O'Hara QR Generator Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026. Operated by Brad O'Hara.
Data and purposes
We receive only the content selected for a QR tool call, image size, and error-correction level. Content may include a public URL, ordinary text, or contact details such as a name, telephone number, and email address. It is used to compute and return the requested QR image. We do not request your chat history, account profile, or precise location.
Do not submit Wi-Fi payloads, passwords, API keys, authentication secrets, payment-card data, government identifiers, protected health information, or other sensitive personal data. Wi-Fi QR generation is unsupported. Checks reject recognizable credentials but cannot identify all sensitive information; review your content before sending it.
Recipients and hosting
Vercel hosts the server and processes requests to provide delivery, reliability, and security. Vercel may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, user-agent information, request paths, and response status. QR content is encoded within the server; the tool does not visit supplied URLs or send content to a QR-generation provider. The result is returned to the requesting client, including ChatGPT or Codex, under that client's separate data policies.
Retention
QR text and generated images are processed in request memory and are not written to an application database, file store, or QR application log. They are not retained by this application after the request completes. Vercel's accessible runtime logs currently have a one-hour retention window on our Hobby plan. Vercel separately handles infrastructure and security information under its own privacy policy; this window is not a promise that every Vercel record is deleted within one hour.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the details you send, and use them to answer your request. Support correspondence is handled through Gmail and deleted within 30 days after the request is resolved. Please do not include QR payloads or restricted sensitive information in support emails.
Your controls
You choose the exact content submitted and may omit contact details, cancel before calling the tool, or disconnect the plugin to stop future requests. There is no application archive of your QR content to delete. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence. Copies retained by your client or recipients of a QR image are controlled by those parties. Essential hosting and security processing cannot be disabled while using the hosted tool.
We do not use QR content for advertising, profiling, scan tracking, or model training. We do not add analytics or tracking cookies to this QR service.
